Small Dorchester St. Birinus Primary School is located nine miles south of Oxford in the charming village of Dorchester on Thames. The River Thame flows through the settlement, which is located at the meeting point of the rivers Thames and Thame. Our goal is to create a joyful, caring environment where kids can feel secure. Every child is treated individually and with respect by us. We support an ethos built on respect for one another and Christian principles. We work hard to maintain and develop a sense of the school as a community where everyone is valued. We want to foster a collaborative atmosphere where kids, parents, staff, and governors can all work well together. We establish and uphold high standards for conduct and discipline, and we educate kids to take responsibility for their own choices and the world around them. We encourage kids to adopt a positive outlook on learning and help them form productive work habits. Through the curriculum and other activities, we help children to develop confidence in themselves and their abilities so enabling them to reach their full potential in their academic, spiritual, moral, cultural and social development. Our aim is to establish these principles firmly so that they underpin children's attitudes as they move from here to their secondary schools and on into the wider community outside school. | Admissions | Prospectus | Ofsted & KS2 Results | | Meet the Staff | Governors | Our Achievements |
