From the Dixons Trinity Academy
On September 4, 2012, Dixons Trinity Academy welcomed 112 Year 7 students and has since grown to accommodate all 560 of its students (Y7-11). We were the first secondary free school to receive the Outstanding rating from Ofsted in January 2014. Trinity has made an effort to incorporate the greatest concepts from academies, schools, the independent sector, and other countries. No single component of our practise is novel. Others have said that it is the way in which ideas have been combined and embedded with rigour and simplicity that has allowed us to make such a strong start. We disbelieve in pre-packaged tactics or methods since there is no magic cure. It is really about being values driven, having clear vision, focusing relentlessly on results, operating strict routines, doing the simple things well every day, and building strong relationships at all levels. We have created an impressive culture of success through the operation of strict routines and protocols, an unwavering focus on results, and by offering the very best teaching and support. Students conduct properly, learn, and exhibit good manners. Teachers impart knowledge with precision and a high degree of civility. Students and staff like working together. All students put in a lot of effort to climb the mountain to university or a viable alternative since it is cool to be smart in our achievement-oriented culture.
