From the Dinnington First School
I consider it a great honour to have been chosen by the governors to serve as the new head teacher of Dinnington First School and to be given the responsibility of overseeing such a wonderful institution.
I am aware that the arrival of a new head teacher signifies a significant shift for a school and its surrounding neighbourhood, so I wanted to take this opportunity to briefly introduce myself and share my enthusiasm for the years to come.
My name is Caroline Ash, and I'm from the North-East. Before relocating to Northumberland, I lived in a little village in North Yorkshire.
I've been a teacher in Newcastle and Northumberland for more than 20 years, during which time I've had a number of high leadership positions.
I have spent four very pleasant and fruitful years as the deputy head teacher at Horton Grange Primary School in Blyth.
In due course, I will go into more detail about my goals and plans for the school's future.
I place a great importance on honesty, friendliness, and hard effort, and I'll set an example by setting high standards for behaviour, growth, and academic achievement through an engaging curriculum.
I will work to make sure that your kids continue to love learning and look forward to going to school.
