From the Cuerden Church School, Bamber Bridge
Cuerden Church School was created by the amalgamation of St. Saviour's C.E. and Bamber Bridge Methodist Schools and we enjoy working in a new purpose built school building, which was completed in September 2006. We take great pride in our Christian roots and our solid ties to both churches. 194 kids attend our joyful school, and there are about 25 dedicated teachers and staff members. Our seasoned Governing Body is very supportive of the school, and our active Friends' Association works hard to raise money for the kids' "special extras." On-site breakfast and after-school clubs are conducted by Cuerden Nursery School (Independent), and we provide a variety of extracurricular activities. Whether you are a new parent looking for information or an experienced parent looking for the best school for your child, I hope you find the information on this page beneficial. The prospectus will provide you with useful information and a "snapshot" of school life at Cuerden Church School. The weekly newsletter that is available on this website is a helpful resource for staying current with events at school and learning about upcoming events.
