I'd like to extend a warm greeting to you on behalf of the students, teachers, and governors of Corporation Road Community Primary School.
Since I became the headteacher in September 2015, especially after the Ofsted inspection in February 2016, the quality of instruction and resources has significantly increased at the school.
Data from valid national assessments shows that students who graduated from Year 6 in 2018 advanced in reading, writing, and mathematics far above the national average.
The school ranks in the top 25% for reading and in the top 5% of schools nationwide for advancement between KS1 and KS2, respectively.
Students receiving the pupil premium nationwide achieved more progress in arithmetic and writing than "other" students.
Additionally, the student groups with "low and moderate prior achievement" achieved very excellent progress.
Compared to the national average of 64%, the school's Year 6 students made exceptional progress, and 62% of them passed the necessary levels in reading, writing, and math combined.
The school's ethos calls for teaching and learning to be explicitly centred on "all the students, all the time."
Throughout the school, there is positive behaviour and attitude toward learning.
Strong attitudes toward learning and behaviours are praised in class and throughout the school as a result of the positive relationships that exist between adults and students.
The school's curriculum promotes essential British principles while also catering to many cultures and religions.
Pupils appreciate, celebrate, and embrace the variety of faiths and religions represented across the school, demonstrating a high respect for others' values and beliefs.
The internal and external learning environments have also undergone significant changes to facilitate improved teaching and learning and better outcomes for all students.
The school is dedicated to maintaining excellent standards across the board, and all of the staff members have very high standards for both the students and themselves.
The school embraces the moral principles and ethical standards of the various cultures and ethnicities represented in our families, seeing itself as the centre of the neighbourhood.
The school received "The Well-Being Award for Schools" in January 2019.
Corporation Road is a school where the mental health and wellbeing of all is a foundation principle.
The CEO of the Trust encapsulated the provision of the school when stating, "...the support for all reflects the 'extra-mileness' of the school.".
Parents feel that the staff are very approachable and the school is welcoming.
Pupils have aspirations and are clearly grateful for the support they receive.
It is an organised and very effective learning environment.
The highest standards of the leaders and staff are reflected in all areas of the school.
A culture of mutual respect has resulted in a team whose morale is high and a staff who are very proud of their school.
Leaders have developed effective strategies to ensure they support and promote staffs' mental health and wellbeing.
As a result of working towards the WAS award, leaders and staff have a clear view of their effective practice and how they wish to develop this even further.
I am very pleased with my second choice as my child is coming on lovely and enjoys school.

Extremely pleased and have applied for my younger son to Corporation Road this coming September.
My son has achieved what he should be and has enjoyed coming to school.
