The Coppice is a school that puts caring first and foremost; it has a longstanding reputation for being a friendly environment, which is frequently mentioned by visitors. A few years ago, the entire school community (students, parents, staff, and governors) came together to create Our Vision Statement of Happy, Confident, and Successful Learners; Well Prepared for life. We do everything possible to keep the children in mind at all times, keeping ourselves "child focused." With our caring ethos, we instil the values necessary for success in life in our children. One concrete example of this is the district-wide belief that Coppice students show good sportsmanship during interschool competitions. Additionally, visitors, cover teachers, and staff at educational visit venues frequently compliment our students on their behaviour and attitude. The Coppice has an outstanding faculty that works hard to give a comprehensive and balanced education for our students. They have a proven track record of giving students opportunities and pushing them beyond the classroom. In the end, we are assessed according to our academic standards. I am happy of our long history of academic success, which helped Ofsted reach a favourable conclusion about our school.
