Thanks for visiting our governor sites. The goal of the schools is to support all students in becoming self-assured individuals, successful learners, and responsible citizens. All governors share this goal. We are all incredibly proud to be connected to two prosperous, cutting-edge, and engaging schools. Despite being a union of two modest rural primary schools, we have a single governing council. Since we initially started working together over six years ago, this has developed rather naturally, and all governors share responsibility in both schools. But we are all aware of how crucial it is to maintain the distinct identities of our two school communities. By identifying strengths and next steps through monitoring, observation, consultation, and conversation, our governors assist our schools' work in many different ways. A key part of our role is to offer challenge and support in building upon these strengths as part of the shared leadership team, whilst remaining aware of the well-being of the children, staff and all members of the school community. Our team of governors comes from a variety of professional disciplines, including finance, business, government service, and IT. All facets of our job, including health and safety inspections, classroom observation, consultancies, and financial planning, have been improved as a result of this experience. Additionally, we are aware of longer-term strategic planning and any problems that could have an impact on our schools. But there's always room for additional knowledge, so we should be happy to have new governors join our group. These sections contain reports and meeting minutes, as well as the organisation and structure of our governing body. Please take the time to explore these sites for additional information or get in touch with us for further details.

Copdock Primary School Reviews

Was a fantastic primary school, small class sizes and lots of extra curricula activities provided by the school and the surrounding village. Very safe environment and fantastic teaching staff. I would be more than happy for my future children to attend this school.
This school offers no extra curricular activities for children, unless they like sport. It focuses very little on creative subjects, such as art or music. It is particularly in-inclusive and has little interest in supporting children who do not fit their mould. They will make you feel that your child doesn't belong there if not performing well academically.
