It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to our school website. Conway is a primary school that is happy, caring and secure, which values children's contributions and believes that the key to achievement is high self-esteem. We promote respect, trust, understanding and tolerance within our school community. These values are held in high regard and contribute to children achieving their full potential and high standards. Conway Primary is almost hidden within the maze of Victorian terrace houses which surround it. Most of the pupils live within a few miles of the school; although a few of them live further away. We are a vibrant multi-cultural, multi-faith community which boasts over 42 home languages and dialects; all living, learning and growing in harmony together which promotes a strong sense of community. We pride ourselves on being a friendly, exciting and stimulating place to learn, offering a curriculum rich with opportunities and experiences where children become independent and confident young people. Children are entitled to a good education and here at Conway Primary School we ensure we provide the opportunity for our pupils to achieve their maximum potential with a many achieving the highest possible standards at the end of key stage 2. We welcome visits from parents and carers and I look forward to meeting you and hope that your child will be happy and successful while they are at the school, establishing a firm foundation for their future.
