A hospital school for young people with mental health concerns is called Cloughside College. Our students, who range in age from 11 to 19, are only enrolled in our school while they are patients of one of our two Prestwich Hospital-based units—Junction 17 or the Gardener Unit. We collaborate with different institutions since students might be admitted from various places across the nation. We are dedicated to making sure that the education we offer is consistent. Our students earn credentials that are comparable to those offered in public schools and FE facilities, such as "A" levels, GCSEs, and Open Awards. We supply a wide range of standards because we work with a variety of establishments. Along with extra career-based education, we also offer personal, social, economic, and health education. We offer suitable educational and vocational options to young people who are not currently enrolled in school by offering individualised learning opportunities. For some young people, we also play a significant role in helping them develop fundamental functional skills and life skills, helping them to get ready for the future. Although the makeup of our student body is ever-changing, we uphold high standards in a supportive setting. As we believe that the combination of therapeutic treatment and education promotes recovery, we strive to make learning a part of the hospital stay. Together with medical professionals, nurses, psychologists, therapists, parents and carers, and social workers, educators help pupils get healthy enough to be released from the hospital. We appreciate you visiting our website. Please don't hesitate to get in touch with us if you want to visit the college.
