From the Churchfields, the Village School
Atworth School and Monkton Farleigh C.E. School were combined to become Churchfields, the Village School, which opened its doors in 2006. A dedicated team of educators that have high expectations and standards for learning quality educate and support the kids. We put a lot of effort into fostering a family-like environment at the school and think it's critical to involve parents fully. Banks of laptops are accessible to the kids at both locations, and each classroom has an interactive whiteboard. We regularly evaluate our ICT capacity to make sure it is always current. Despite having two bases, we operate as one school, and the staff works hard to maintain consistency in the curriculum's coverage and parity in students' accomplishments and standards between the two bases.
