Year 1 will do indoor PE on a Thursday morning. On a Friday afternoon, Year 1's outdoor games will take place. We have been studying historical games and relics in history class. This half-term, the kids all did an excellent job of learning their lines and participating in our worship. They took pleasure in presenting our Big Question to the school. We have been discussing the qualities of a good friend and how to live according to our school's core principles. In our gymnastics sessions, we have practised numerous various jumps, rolls, and movement patterns. In our Science lessons this term, the kids are studying the human body in great detail. Conkers that some of the kids had found at home were eagerly brought in. Also, a sincere thank you to all the parents and carers who assisted the kids in making their "Chatterbags." The kids enjoyed sharing their interests, close friends, and other items. Year 1 students have been reading Julia Donaldson's Jack and the Flumflum Tree after getting a mysterious sack full of intriguing items this week. The kids have worked hard to order the story's events and have enjoyed making their own Flumflum trees. This week, Year 1 has put a lot of effort on their addition.
