Downley: PMLD Downley (together with The Downley School) (age 3 19). Speech, language, and communication needs that are moderate (KS2) Complex ASD: Cressex (age 3-19). Complex speech, language, and communication needs that fall under the purview of different Early Years, Key Stages 1 and 2, and Key Stages 3-5 departments. The former Chiltern Gate and Maplewood Schools were combined to form Chiltern Wood School. Both schools have undergone a successful transition process, and thanks to the diligence and commitment of professional employees, they both received good ratings during our most recent inspections. We pride ourselves on putting the wellbeing of our children and staff at the centre of the learning process, as we believe that sustained success is only seen when embedded in a safe, secure and happy environment.
