A successful 11–18 year old grammar school in Ramsgate, Chatham & Clarendon Grammar School united in January 2009. There are about 1,400 pupils enrolled, and the Chatham & Clarendon Sixth (CCVI), a joint mixed sixth form, has been operating since September 2010. A third of our student body comes from other nearby secondary schools, and the vast majority of Chatham & Clarendon Year 11 students continue on to the Sixth Form. It is also a popular choice for Year 11 students in Thanet and East Kent. We have the largest sixth form in Thanet, with approximately 500 students. The Chatham & Clarendon Grammar School provides students with a distinctive academic environment and a supportive culture. Although it is housed in recognisable, imposing structures with a distinguished history of educational accomplishment, it combines traditional values with modernity. Visitors to the school and people who are familiar with it often remark on how unique and welcoming it is. We are always glad to take visitors around the school and answer any questions. This prospectus and our website can only give a glimpse of what our Sixth Form is all about.
