Our Values and Ethos: A Letter from the School Principal. We at Castle Primary School are dedicated to giving our students the finest possible education. We think learning ought to be interesting, intriguing, difficult, and joyful. We are dedicated about treating each of our children as unique individuals and making sure they always feel valued and secure. Currently, six courses at Castle are home to about 150 students. Every class has a famous castle from our region of the world as its name. Year 1 is taught in Dartmouth, Year 6 is taught in Tintagel, Year 5 is taught in Dunster, Year 3/4 is taught in Totnes, Year 2/3 is taught in Corfe. Our kindergarten students are instructed in their "Drogo" class. Additionally, we have a unique "Tiny Turrets Nursery" where our preschoolers may have fun learning about the world. We are making significant investments in our lovely Victorian structures because we are aware of how crucial learning spaces are to how children learn. The rich historical environment of the village should coexist peacefully with the bright, contemporary areas they provide, replete with cutting-edge new technology. We are able to provide the greatest education for our students because of the strong sense of community that exists around the school and the dedicated team that is willing to learn new and exciting teaching methods. Please schedule a visit with us by getting in touch with the school office if you'd like to learn more about the school; we'd be happy to see you.
