With over 300 students from Reception to Year 6, Carrfield Primary Academy is a primary school in the community of Bolton-upon-Dearne on the outskirts of the borough of Barnsley. The Academy wants to give every student the chance to reach their best potential by creating a stimulating learning environment. Each child is expected to grow in self-awareness and comprehension of the world in which they live. Additionally, we want kids at Carrfield Primary Academy to learn the skills necessary to react imaginatively and effectively in a variety of circumstances. We also want them to develop positive attitudes toward learning, teamwork, and caring for others. The Academy is also very interested in environmental education, and its vast and varied grounds offer a lot of chances for hands-on learning. The students' eco committee, which is active, contributes to numerous planning and work efforts, including the curriculum.

I have recently left carrfeild and have been incredibly sad to leave the school it has been a big step for me to move on and still haven't but the attachment and friends you make at carrfeild was immaculate and I wish I was still there
