From the The Carlton Junior Academy
As the lead Primary to build this division of the Redhill Academy Trust, we officially joined the organisation on November 1st, 2017, taking the name "The Carlton Junior Academy." by engaging students in a variety of extracurricular activities, such as athletics and the performing arts, to broaden their horizons. Known previously as Carlton Central Junior School we remain situated on a large, elevated site shared with our feeder Infant & Nursery School who have also converted to 'The Carlton Infant Academy' as part of the Redhill Trust. In the academic year that they are eight years old, the majority of kids leave. There are 203 kids listed on the roster right now. Since opening its doors as Carlton Central County Primary School in June 1964, our academy/school has been providing education to the neighbourhood. We constantly strive to enhance our offerings so that students can reach the highest standards. By strengthening our collaborations, we can give our students the best possible opportunities while fostering productive working relationships between staff, parents, and governors. The Academy has gained Eco Status, Achievement for All Gold Mark (Lead School), Healthy Schools' Gold Status and Enhanced Status, Investors in Pupils, Schools' Financial Value Standard, EPICT e-Safety, Forest Schools accreditation. The school also supports various schools in Nottinghamshire through the Local Leaders of Education programme, and also took part in the Children's University initiative.
