The Caister Infant School that started in this facility in 1971 was renamed a First School in 1979. It returned to being an infant school in September 2008. The age range of the school is from 3-7 years but there are 16 places available for 2 year olds in the Nursery as part of our day care provision. We offer a Breakfast Club and an After School Club, and the school is open from eight in the morning until five thirty in the evening. We have a library that was specifically designed for us, an ICT suite, and interactive whiteboards in every classroom—even the nursery. The school's true strengths can be found in a number of different contexts. Every youngster may learn in a safe and purposeful environment thanks to it. A broad view is taken of learning in which the personal, social and emotional development of children is seen to be equally important as the academic and intellectual aspects of their education. If you would like to look around the school to see for yourself what a wonderful environment is provided for children during the early stages of their formal educational journey, please contact us by post, telephone or email at:-.
