In order to live up to our motto of "Learning for Life," we wish to encourage our students in becoming independent learners as well as confident, responsible, and young adults.
The school offers a complete, high-quality education to students between the ages of 11 and 18, and we have a great reputation in the neighbourhood for our high standards.
We offer a broad curriculum covering a variety of subjects at the GCSE and A Level. Our highly qualified team of professional teachers and support staff are dedicated to providing the students with the highest quality education along with a creative learning style that fosters curiosity, fosters collaboration, aids in the development of resilience, and encourages flexibility of thought.
Even though I think The Burgate now offers the greatest education in the area for both boys and girls, we are still very enthusiastic about being one of the best comprehensive schools in the country.
We were ranked third among all Hampshire schools for the crucial progress metric in 2018.
