The opinions of the people who make up our community—students, parents, staff, and governors—form the basis of our vision.
We conducted an exercise with our students and the community over the summer term of 2017 to identify our values and explain what it means to be a part of Brixham College.
We were thrilled by what we discovered—a college that is a lively, amiable, and encouraging environment where success, advancement, and originality are rewarded and everyone feels like they belong.

Meaning that a wide range of enrichment programmes, residentials, and trips serve all kids regardless of disadvantage, special educational need, or intrinsic aptitude.
Within our community, there is a consensus that providing excellence—which is done by making everyone around you better—is what our students deserve.
A fundamental conviction that greatness is best delivered when there is a consensus on what is significant in our school serves as the foundation for teaching everyone better.
We advocate that academic success leads to success in life and work to equip our students to succeed in life.
