This is the website for Bridgemere CE (Aided) Primary School and Nursery. Our school is active and pleasant, with lots going on. This website strives to introduce you to our exceptional rural school and to offer current information for parents, students, and the larger community. We sincerely hope you enjoy browsing our website and discover the details you're looking for. Any questions you may have can be directed to the school directly. Even though we have over 90 students and are expanding, we still provide amenities that several larger schools do not, such as a Before and After School club that is open from 7:30am to 6pm and a flexible Nursery where parents may "purchase" more hours and lunchtime care. The school has the atmosphere of a large family where everyone is concerned for one another. We are located in Cheshire East, six miles south of Nantwich, on a remote country road with pheasants and horses as our neighbours, yet it only takes ten minutes to travel to Nantwich and much less to get to Audlem and Woore. Our outdoor spaces, which include "The Wild Wood" with a stream running through it, large fields, a school garden, and "The Burrow" with an adventure route, are something we are very proud of. There are four classrooms in our school, each with two year groups (Class 1 - Nursery and Reception, Class 2 - Year 1 and 2, Class 3 - Year 3 and 4, Class 4 - Year 5 and 6). Our reduced class sizes across the board at Bridgemere have a significant positive impact on the students. The Friends of Bridgmere, our parents, and friends who fundraise and organise social events provide the children and staff with outstanding support. The school's governing board is also highly supportive.
