Our business officer, Mrs. Wilson, will be happy to chat with you and address your questions. Brassington is a small village school located in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside. It is big enough to offer a variety of options for the kids yet small enough that every child can be recognised as an individual. There are few students per class and acceptable staff to student ratios. 56 people are currently enrolled in 3 classes. With four years of remarkable performance, the school is developing a stellar reputation in the academic community. The highly qualified and committed staff at Brassington Primary School work hard to ensure that your child makes the best progress possible. In every year group, including Year 6, we achieve this by quality first instruction and a comprehensive and balanced skills-based creative curriculum. Year 5 students learn to sail at Carsington Water throughout the summer term, and we are delighted of the fact that all of our students passed the RYA Level 1 exam. The Year 5 and Year 6 students go on an annual residential trip, while the younger students participate in weekly Forest Schools sessions. Bringing out the Best in Everyone is our school's motto, and we work hard to live up to it for each and every student who enrols at Brassington Primary School.
