You are immediately struck by the expanse of lush greenery that makes up the school fields and front lawn as soon as you enter The Blue Coat School's entry gates. This appears to be a lovely picture postcard for a split second before coming to life with the sound and sight of students playing during recess or actively participating in their games lesson. The Blue Coat Boy and Blue Coat Girl statues proudly occupy the space right below the Viney building's clock tower, faithfully reproducing the school's former location next to St. Philip's Churchyard in the heart of Birmingham. The school's 15-acre campus is anchored by this famous edifice, which is flanked by both the old and the new. Collective worship is still frequently held in the Blue Coat Chapel, which was dedicated in 1932, not long after the school moved to its Harborne facilities. For the 340 Prep students, the Prep Houses that recall the School's boarding era continue to provide as a "home away from home." Early in the morning, you can watch the kids cheer on games of table tennis and table football through the house windows. At the end of the day, you can see them hanging out with their pals. The Blue Coat Garden, Astro Turf pitch, cricket net practise area, and Blue Coat Forest School are recent additions to the school grounds. When you are here, it is difficult to realise that the city centre is only 3 miles away. These exceptional facilities provide us with excellent teaching and learning materials. The staff at Blue Coat is here to motivate your youngster. Our goal is to provide limitless learning for today's achievers, and we sincerely hope you'll come along for the ride.
