Welcome to The Bishop Wand Church of England School's Sixth Form.
In terms of the academic success of our students and the contributions they make to the School and the larger community, we are proud of our growing sixth form community.
The School and the larger community depend on the Sixth Form in many ways.
They are adequately prepared for life after the sixth form and are valued.
We anticipate active participation from all of our students in all facets of school life.
This sets us distinct from other service providers since it gives many of our students the chance to mentor younger students and support their academic development.
The Sixth Formers are a group in whom we take great pride because of the leadership they provide for the rest of our pupils.
The superior pastoral care offered in the lower school is expanded upon in the sixth form.
Many students pick the Bishop Wand Sixth Form because to their positive experiences with their lower school instructors as well as the teachers' obvious enthusiasm for guiding students through this critical stage of their academic and social growth.
Our relationships with our kids reflect the fact that they are different from those in lower school and that we approach them as emerging adults.
Each kid is known as an individual and valued for their abilities, which is a hallmark of the care and assistance they get.
In order to ensure that every student advances to their potential and that early intervention takes place where there are issues, our Sixth Form tutor staff is committed to offering the finest assistance and advice and promoting effective conversation between parents and teachers.
All of our kids are given a supportive and secure atmosphere, and we place a strong Christian ethos at the centre of everything we do.
As a result, students at the Bishop Wand Sixth Form excel in their academics, form strong, enduring bonds with one another, and move on to a variety of academic and professional pursuits.
