A charitable organisation called Birtenshaw offers a distinctive array of services for kids and teenagers with special needs and disabilities.
For these young people in Bolton, the rest of the North West, and beyond, our mission is to "Brighten Lives and Build Futures."
Our mission is to "brighten lives, build futures" for individuals with physical or learning disabilities.
Parents who were motivated to give their children with Cerebral Palsy special schooling founded Birtenshaw as a school in Bolton in 1956.
A non-maintained special school, Birtenshaw School is housed in a custom, cutting-edge structure.
For kids and teenagers with special needs and disabilities, ages 3 to 19, it offers education programmes that are specifically designed.
At Birtenshaw School, we are dedicated to the idea of comprehensive communication. We also offer a creative curriculum, facilities that are especially suited for people with autism, and a variety of complementary medical treatments and therapies.
We offer special further education, independent living skills, and functional training to students between the ages of 16 and 25 through Birtenshaw College, a 2014 establishment.
In order to help each person make the transition into maturity and a more independent existence, our Care Services, which are tailored specifically to the requirements of Children and Young Adults, encourage, support, and motivate them in secure, comfortable, and organised surroundings.
A number of children's homes with local locations, our short-break centre, and shared care facilities offer care services for kids.
