From the Birchfield Community Primary School
In 1974, Birchfield Community Primary School and Preschool was founded. We are a co-ed school serving children ages 2 to 11; our primary school has 405 students, and our pre-school has 67 more. We make a lot of effort to offer all of the kids a variety of engaging, exciting, and fun learning opportunities, especially through our "Creative Curriculum." Our faculty created this topic-focused, skills-based curriculum based on the 2014 National Curriculum with the interests, needs, and abilities of Birchfield children at its core. In order to further enrich our curriculum, we frequently conduct themed days, and parents and carers are welcome to attend. . There are many other exciting features to our school from the many extra curricula clubs that we run, our Breakfast and Teatime clubs, our educational visitors, trips and residential school journeys, the array of activities that FoBs (Friends of Birchfield School) put on for us and our links with the local community. About this page, you can get information on all of these things and more.
