From the Benyon Primary School
In 1863, Benyon Primary School was created. Richard Benyon, a Lord of the Manor who resided in Reading, Berkshire, gave money for its construction. At first, there were 80 girls and 100 boys enrolled in the school. The current school was constructed in 1952. Boys and girls between the ages of three and eleven are served by the Benyon Primary School. Our nursery is where the kids spend half of their day. The majority of our students reside in the homes and apartments in the school's catchment region. The school is located in very nice surroundings, with front and back gardens and a big playing area that borders open farmland. The school has 10 teaching areas, a nursery with outdoor play area, a library area, a hall which is well equipped for P.E. and which doubles as a dining area, a kitchen, offices and a staff room. There are two hard play areas on the field, which is used for play and game teaching. Our goal: Our goal at Benyon Primary School is to create young people with engaged, creative brains who may lead contented, joyful lives. Every child's full spiritual, moral, intellectual, social, emotional, and physical growth is something we respect. The development of each student's self-esteem depends on their interactions with others. We work to get parents, carers, employees, and community people involved in the learning of the kids. In a rapidly changing world we will work together to develop well-rounded children, who are confident individuals, successful learners and who will, ultimately, become responsible citizens who make a positive contribution to the community and society as a whole.
