Welcome to our governor pages. All governors share the schools' vision of helping all children to become confident individuals, successful learners and responsible citizens. We are all very proud to be associated with two successful, innovative and exciting schools. Although we are a federation of two small rural primary schools, we share one governing body. This has evolved quite naturally since we first began working in partnership nearly six years ago and all governors share responsibilities in both schools. However, we all recognise the importance of preserving the individual identities of our two school communities. Our governors support the work of our schools in many ways by identifying strengths and next steps through monitoring, observation, consultation and discussion. A key part of our role is to offer challenge and support in building upon these strengths as part of the shared leadership team, whilst remaining aware of the well-being of the children, staff and all members of the school community. Our team of governors has a wide range of professional experience from different backgrounds including finance, public service, business and IT. We use this experience to enhance all aspects of our work such as health and safety inspections, classroom observation, consultations and financial planning.
