From the Belmont School
Greetings from Belmont School.
Belmont is a wonderfully peaceful and joyful multicultural institution.
We take pleasure in our multicultural community and recognise the accomplishments of all of our students, emphasising not only academic excellence but also athletic and artistic accomplishments.
Our dedication to and observance of children's rights serve as the foundation of the school's culture.
As a nationally renowned institution, we were ecstatic to receive the Gold Accreditation as a Rights Respecting School because we firmly believe in and actively advocate for the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), both within our institution and in the broader society.
We make an effort to make learning at Belmont challenging, engaging, and creative by adhering to the mandated curriculum we must teach while modifying it to meet the needs of all students.
As a result, our new build block now comprises six new classrooms, a group teaching area, and a new school kitchen in addition to three new Reception classrooms with a dedicated outdoor learning environment.
In addition to integrating and expanding our Forest Schools programme, our 2016 playground remodel has improved children's access to high-quality PE instruction and outdoor learning opportunities.
Through the Harrow Teaching School Alliance and the Harrow School Improvement Partnership, the school is now recognised as a Learning Hub for Outdoor Learning and Mathematics and provides training and support to other schools and settings.
