The Barley and Barkway Church of England First Schools Federation would like to welcome you.
Our two schools collaborate on an equal basis and are located in the centre of their respective towns.
We are greatly impacted by the Christian religion and its principles as Church Schools, and as such, we treat each member of our school communities with respect and provide Christian pastoral care.
In order to encourage enhanced progress and results for all, starting in September 2018, we will be educating our students in single year groups from Year 1 to Year 4, with students in Years Nursery, Reception, and 1 in Barkway and those in Years 2, 3, and 4 in Barley.
We wish to provide every child in our Federation with the chance to participate with a broad and varied curriculum and a variety of learning experiences that excite and drive them.
We collaborate with Barkway Preschool, which holds classes at Barkway School, and provide fascinating and demanding experiences for kids ages 2 to 9.
We can enjoy the diversity in our world thanks to our collaboration with the Essex School in London, and our access to Forest School programmes helps us learn more about nature.
We can personalise learning opportunities since our schools are small, allowing all of our students to advance academically and spiritually.
