Our school's welcoming, family-like environment supports all of our students, enabling them to benefit from a high-quality education that offers chances for creativity and inspiration. We prioritise the growth of solid interpersonal and social skills while also encouraging high standards in academic performance, sport, drama, music, and the arts. All of our Key Stage 2 students learn a musical instrument, and they have the chance to participate in musical activities both inside and outside of the school. The school has a wide range of computer resources, including interactive whiteboards in every classroom and enough laptops and iPads for whole-class computer education. Every student at the school is a part of a Buddy Group that includes students from every year level. Throughout the course of the academic year, the groups have the chance to engage in activities together at playtime. We welcome parents as partners in their child's education in our school. You are welcome to stop over, see us at work, and lend a hand if you can. We also host a variety of open events that highlight our services for parents and carers. Every evening after school, we are able to provide on-site childcare, and we also provide before-school care. The website contains a separate section for Fun At Barford (FAB). The majority of our kids attend Wymondham High School or Wymondham College after they graduate from our school because we are a part of the Wymondham cluster of schools. You are cordially welcome to stop by so you may see for yourself why we are so proud of our kids and our school.
