Our history curriculum is designed at Badsley Primary School to be completely inclusive of all students.
Our goals are to satisfy the requirements of the National Curriculum for History, provide a broad, balanced, and differentiated curriculum that fully embraces British Values, ensure the progressive development of historical concepts, knowledge, and skills, and allow the students to study life in the past.
At Badsley, we strive to provide students with a high-quality history education that piques their interest in both British and global history.
We will implement a progressive curriculum throughout the entire school to ensure excellent levels of history teaching and learning.
In order to focus on the knowledge and skills outlined in the National Curriculum, history is taught as part of learning projects.
