We appreciate you taking the time to visit our website. We hope it gives you a flavour of our forward thinking and nurturing federation which comprises the village schools of Halwill and Ashwater. We actively participate in village life while living in the beautiful Devonshire countryside. We firmly recommend that the local community, as well as parents and carers, participate in many parts of the schools. Always strive to do your absolute best in any circumstances you encounter, and have faith in your ability to achieve. Never give up and remember that you cannot succeed without failing. Always be considerate and courteous to your friends, classmates, smaller children, and adults. The educational approach that Halwill and Ashwater offer is a superb foundation for the future in a world that is changing rapidly. We are dedicated to giving our students the highest possible academic education. The world of future will, however, need more than just intellectual excellence. New technologies have already changed many aspects of our daily lives and will, inevitably, alter the nature of society and the world of work. We believe that a rounded education is of such value: one which challenges children academically, encourages children to develop their sporting, musical, creative and computing skills as well as teaching children to be resilient, work as a team, to think creatively and to speak confidently to individuals and groups. If you're interested in learning more about our schools and visiting them, please contact us. If you would like to stop by, kindly make arrangements with the school office. We would be happy to show you around or respond to any questions you may have.
