As a family, Ashton Hayes Primary School cultivates a warm, secure atmosphere for our students.
Children are taught to be respectful and considerate of others' needs at Ashton Hayes Primary School.
They also have the chance to take on additional roles and responsibilities within and outside of the school, including running for student council elections.
We want to encourage a love of learning in our kids and provide them the freedom to do their best work.
By the time students leave Ashton Hayes Primary School, we hope they will have taken advantage of all the opportunities offered to them and will have accomplished everything they are capable of.
They will have had fun while attending Ashton Hayes Primary School and grown more self-assured and independent.
We will have aided them in acquiring the knowledge, values, and dispositions required to succeed in secondary school's novel and exciting challenges and to mature into responsible, informed members of our multiracial society.
This year, the emphasis in the classroom is on fostering students' varied mathematical fluency, which is directly linked to possibilities for clear-cut reasoning and problem-solving.
Building Learning Power, a component of our newly built curriculum, offers students a variety of learning opportunities and helps them recognise their own learning styles (cultivating the habits and attitudes of curious, confident and independent learners and making the HOW of learning explicit).
We continue to create outdoor learning opportunities for our kids and make sure Conscious Discipline is used to help kids understand who they are and how others are.
