It is my joy to greet you and give you a quick overview of Arthur Mellows Village College as its head of college. Our success at Arthur Mellows Village College is consistently attributed to the range and depth of talent, generosity, and devotion displayed by all staff members and students. We take pleasure in having a community college that is supportive, safe, and stimulating. Our staff, curriculum, facilities, and educational resources are of the highest calibre, and we provide all students and the general public with great educational possibilities. Students have exceptional performance in both the GCSE and A Level exams throughout the 2018–19 exam period. The majority of our A Level students were successful in securing their university places and excellent results were reported with 31% of examinations taken being A* to A grades and 62% of students achieving A* to B grades in A Levels. 75% of the students in our Year 11 GCSE cohort earned a grade 4 or higher in English and Math. Additionally, 21% of the marks given were the highest possible (9-7) or an equal. This is a fantastic example of how hard everyone involved worked. This school has given me false hope in life as i am now failing my a levels after being promised that this school is best for me. The punishment system is attrotious, my friend got sent out of a lesson and given an hour afterschool detention of accidentally saying that they fudged up their multiple...
My children are at AMVC. We have been most satisfied with the management and leadership at the school. My kids are generally happy here. Sone teachers are great, sone not so, and I feel that my daughter's previous science teacher really affected her ability in the subject.which was fine before. This school has a massive problem with respect, bullying, aggressive behaviour towards staff. Students swear at staff, call them names. They have a bad behavioural issue which needs addressing.
