Our school strives to offer a comprehensive, well-balanced, and engaging curriculum that enables all students to learn regardless of socioeconomic status, race, gender, or ability.
Although the teaching of English and mathematics, as well as the core skills of reading, writing, and mathematics, are prioritised, we also make as many cross-curricular connections with other subject areas as we can to provide opportunities for students to apply their knowledge in a variety of meaningful contexts that encourage a desire to learn.
In order to encourage learning both within and outside the classroom, Arden School thinks that strong relationships between the school, parents, and governors are essential.
The UNICEF Rights Respecting School Bronze Award was given to Arden Primary School in the summer of 2019.
This honour recognises the excellent work that our school has done to raise awareness of children's rights among all members of our community.
At Arden, we make a lot of effort to provide our kids with inspiring learning environments.
We make sure that our students are valued and that their interests and abilities are fostered.
Arden is putting a lot of effort into earning the Silver Award for the upcoming academic year.
The Arden students participated in the democratic selection of our school's values in September 2005.
In order to identify which values would best meet the Arden community's aspirational goals, the children were given a list of 30 values to pick from and asked to do some work.
Class reps did a fantastic job of describing why the final 22 had been chosen and how they represented life at Arden to the entire school community after these had been analysed.
