Our goal is supported by the parable of the Lost Sheep from Luke chapter 15 verses 3–6, which shows how special and priceless each member of our community is. Everybody has the right to be themselves, to feel included, and to learn in a secure and joyful environment at our school. At our school, everyone is on an equal footing and shows each other care and respect. All of our actions are based on our 12 Christian Values. Although these are our "Christian Values," the kids have talked about how they may also be considered "life values" by people of all faiths or none at all. Each week, we focus on one of these 12 Christian Values during Collective Worship, listening to Bible stories while we discuss and consider how these tales remind and instruct us on how to coexist peacefully. The "Junior Worship" team also teaches these Values to the kids once a week by bringing Bible stories to life via play.
