Small hamlet school Alresford Primary is situated amid lovely grounds. The school is a caring community where individual needs are recognised and supported and where we ensure that all children are given a wide range of experiences in a safe and secure environment. Children are provided with every opportunity to succeed and reach their full potential. Every person in our community is recognised and valued. We offer a rigorous and entertaining curriculum that is tailored to each child's needs. We will help your child develop as a caring, productive member of an everchanging society by satisfying their moral, spiritual, cultural, social and emotional needs. We have high standards for behaviour, attitude, and individual effort. We believe strongly that education is a partnership and with this in mind, we would like you to value your child's achievements by hearing them read and reminding them to do their homework. We would like you to support your child in their tolerance of others and we will encourage you to talk to us about any worries which might affect your child at school. It is particularly important for parents and the community to take an active part in the life of the school, whether in the classroom, the Parent Teacher Association or becoming a school governor and we will positively encourage you to get involved. We believe that all of these things help prepare each child for the challenges of the modern world, providing them with the skills, knowledge and understanding they will need for a successful future.
