From the Alban City School
Our goal is to offer a school with high academic standards that enables kids to realise their potential and be the greatest version of themselves. We strive to be a welcoming school where all parents, regardless of their circumstances and needs, feel comfortable entrusting their kids to us in the knowledge that we will support and mentor them to achieve their very best academically, socially, and physically in a setting that prioritises the needs of the kids. We want to raise children who are interested in the world around them, who care about it, who can adjust to change, and who are self-assured enough to take on difficulties. In their interactions with one another and the adults they encounter, we want our students to be gracious and tolerant. We aim to give our children opportunities to participate in a variety of activities in St Albans, so that they can work as part of a team, be proud of their own achievements and truly feel part of the St Albans community.
