The expectation at this school is to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people. A voluntary-aided, one-form entry primary school, Adel St. John the Baptist Church of England. As a result, the Diocese has appointed a number of Foundation Governors along with Parent Governors, a Local Authority Governor, as well as teaching and non-teaching staff members. thirteen altogether at the moment. As a Governing Body we are responsible for staffing and appointments, resources, teaching and learning and pupil support and we are certain that you will find Adel St John's to be a warm, welcoming and inclusive school. We invite parents and carers to visit the school and discuss any concerns they may have with teachers and governors. The safety and well-being of your students is our first priority as a school community because we want to see them succeed to the fullest. They are as equipped and self-assured as they can be to take on difficulties when they depart from us to continue their high school education. The whole Governing Body and all of our pertinent subcommittees meet regularly during the academic year. As soon as the minutes of those meetings are approved and signed, they are made public. We try to tell families as much as possible about the school community and upcoming events through the schools' Friday Newsletter, Literacy and Class Newsletters. We look forward to seeing you at one of the many fantastic events this school offers.
