From the USP College
Palmer's College in Grays and Seevic College in Benfleet merged to form USP College in 2017. Palmer's first opened in 1706 after merchant William Palmer established a charity school for the parish of Grays, and the Seevic Campus debuted in 1972 as a college for sixth-form students. The college has a long history. To give students in Essex even better opportunities, the new further education college builds on its strengths and history. This is indicative of the direction the college is heading: career-focused education that equips students with the talents employers demand, as well as formal education and the development of marketable professional skills. With successful businesses and colleges all around the nation, we have developed relationships and partnerships. Our goal is for them to succeed, and the institution takes pride in providing a special, secure, and welcoming atmosphere where students may be who they want to be.
