The best exam scores in St. Dominic's school's history are celebrated. While 45% of students earned 5 or more GCSEs at grades 1 through 9, 27% of students earned 5 or more GCSEs at a grade 4 or higher. Ninety-one percent of the cohort earned at least one GCSE. Many students in the cohort successfully pursued portfolio-based credentials at levels 1 and 2. When these are taken into account, 63% of the cohort had obtained five or more GCSEs or equivalents. In English, 36% of students received a "strong pass" (grade 5+), and 45% of students received a pass (grade 4+). In math, 27% of students received a "strong pass" (grade 5+), and 36% of students received a pass (grade 4+). All students studying GCSE English as a re-sit achieved a grade 4+; two students had the tenacity to achieve this feat on their third and fourth attempts! . All of the pupils' qualifications based on a portfolio were passed by all of them. All AS Art and Design students received grades between A and C, which is a remarkable accomplishment. With the support of staff and families, pupils and students have overcome significant barriers to attain such impressive results and we celebrate their individual achievements, which often cannot be reflected in statistics. From their respective beginning places, all children and students have excelled.
