From the St Cecilia's RC High School
We appreciate your interest in our school. On the eastern edge of the Ribble Valley, there is a modest, welcoming learning environment called St. Cecilia's RC High School. We serve families from all throughout the Longridge area, from Preston's inner city to rural farming towns. Our intake process is incredibly thorough. While the majority of our pupils are of the Catholic faith, we very much welcome children other than Catholics who wish to be part of a faith school. Our goal is to offer a top-notch education that is inspired by the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. As such, a focus upon respect for each other, maximisation of our God-given talents, nurturing of a hunger for learning and justice, and the value of 'community', empower us all to believe that we each have an important role to play in making our world an even better place for each other. I'm very proud of my role as headteacher at St. Cecilia's and the individuals I work with. All members of the administration, faculty, staff, parents, and students are devoted to making our school a secure, joyful, and challenging environment. On the website, you can learn more about St. Cecilia's. Please make arrangements for a visit with the school office if you'd like to take a closer look.
