From the The Rural Enterprise Academy
The Rural Enterprise Academy is a cutting-edge educational facility that was created in response to community demand and the demands of top companies. Our mission is to inspire, support, and educate upcoming rural entrepreneurs. The local community and national employers have recognised the need to train young people for careers in these sectors, while also ensuring 13–16 year olds study a broad range of subjects to prepare them for their future. These sectors offer many employment opportunities in land-based, rural, and environmental sustainability sectors. Every student's growth is important to us because we want them to realise their full potential. The cornerstone of what is needed for future employment is English and Math, so we offer substantial levels of support for everyone who needs it to obtain A*-C in these crucial disciplines. We also give children the option to combine academic subjects with learning about careers in order to prepare them for future working lives. Students benefit from first-hand job experience, the development of necessary skills to get them started, and the support they need to pursue their future successful careers thanks to our connections with South Staffordshire College, the NFU, and Veolia. What Our Parents Say is just one of the great amenities available to our students. The wisest move I ever made was to send my son to the Academy. He now has much more self-confidence, and he gets the best support possible. 12th year parent.
