The School will welcome students to its newly constructed Center in September 2019. This is the first centre in South Tyneside where students in years 10 and 11 can study for vocational qualifications. The Center will host students from different schools, and they will have the opportunity to enrol in the courses indicated below. All of the Center's instructors have experience working in the workplace and are experts in their respective fields. Head of Service Mr. B. Bell is in charge of running the Center. Making sure students have a path into college, an apprenticeship, or other training, depending on what is best for each student, is a top goal for the Center. The Center will also establish connections with nearby companies to provide internship opportunities, allowing students to apply their newly acquired skills in real-world workplaces. The Center will focus on teaching kids with SEN and other needs and will collaborate with schools to provide specialised curricula. If schools require exclusive use of the facility due to student needs, the Center can also be reserved outside of usual school hours. Check with the Center to discuss school needs.
