From the Notton House Academy
At Notton House, we strive to develop an ethos that represents the following key values: Safety, Kindness, and Respect and is pertinent to the needs of the young people and society.
Make sure that every young person has access to excellent or superior instruction.
The curriculum should be differentiated to match the needs of the students at Notton House.
In order to improve life chances through a holistic approach and by valuing the whole child, Notton House aims to build relationships of trust and care. We will continue to develop our trauma-informed practise so that it is embedded in a nurturing environment to enable the development of the individual, socially, emotionally, and academically.
We work hard to provide high-quality services that help young people with social, emotional, and mental health challenges succeed and reach their full potential while giving them the best possible opportunities in life.
In addition to providing quality in intervention, pastoral support, guidance, and care, we are aspirational for our kids, families, and staff and provide excellence in teaching, learning, and academic ambition.
The specialised Multi Academy Trust, which was established in September 2017, includes Notton House Academy.
In order to ensure a longer-term, sustainable future for specialised provision that satisfies the needs of children and young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health in the South West of England, we continue to work with Bristol, Wiltshire, Gloucester, South Gloucester, and Somerset Local Authorities as well as and the other schools within Learn@MAT.
