The National Farmers' Union elected Minette as its president in 2018, becoming her the organization's first female leader since its founding in 1908. Lord Curry, a farmer from Northumberland and a former leader of NFU Mutual, is most known for serving as the head of the Policy Commission on the Future of Farming and Food, which established agricultural standards for the UK's farming industry after the foot-and-mouth disease outbreak in 2001. For his significant contributions to plant pathology and the advancement of science in classrooms and the general public, Professor David, a botanist who previously held the positions of Director of the Royal Botanic Garden in Edinburgh and Master of St. Catharine's College at the University of Cambridge, was awarded an Honorary Fellowship. David completed an eight-year career by founding his own rally team, Prodrive, in 1984. Ian, the surveyor of lands for the Duchy of Lancaster, represented HM The Queen in matters relating to the land where Lodge and Lee Farm are situated.
