From the The Link School
I'm excited to greet you and present myself as the head teacher of the Link School.
A provider of alternative education, The Link School works with young students and their families around the City of Sunderland.
We formally became one throughout the school year in 2018-2019, which was another amazing year for Link School.
We moved from Tudor Grove to our beautifully renovated facility at Springwell Dene, which includes some amazing new facilities for all of our students, after successfully joining formally with the KS1 PRU.
The GCSE results for this year also demonstrated a trend toward improvement, with 88% of students earning a GCSE in English and 84% earning a GCSE in mathematics.
The proportion of students who graduated from the school with five or more GCSEs has grown.
As head teacher, my top priority is making sure the Link School develops further on its path to excellence.
As a mother of two girls, I am acutely aware of the value of family, and I firmly think that you and your kids, as members of our Link school family, have the fortitude and zeal to make sure that this occurs jointly.
