A quality education is one of the most priceless gifts you can give your child.
Gad's Hill School provides this.
Our school is a fantastically joyful, alive, and forward-thinking community.
We offer an independent day school for boys and girls ages 3 through 16 in the small, semi-rural village of Higham on the North Kent coast, halfway between Rochester and Gravesend.
The school boasts a great environment for the development and growth of our students, located in the grounds of the historic Georgian home of famed author Charles Dickens, overlooking the countryside and only 22 minutes by train from London.
Gad's Hill School is a beautiful location to receive an education because it celebrates childhood every day and has high academic standards, excellent pastoral care, and exceptional drama, music, and sports facilities and programmes.
Academically, Gad's is known for consistently producing exceptional GCSE results. Early in 2011, the BBC, The Times, and the Government's School League Tables rated Gad's as the top independent school in the nation. When state schools are included, the school ranks seventh overall.
We think that our tiny size plays a significant role in our success.
We uphold traditional values, respect for oneself, and a deep feeling of friendship, family, and community.
Gad's Hill School is a kind, considerate, and orderly setting that will motivate your child to put up their best effort.
