From the Cambourne Village College
Academy of The Cam Academy Trust, Cambourne Village College, welcomed its first group of 132 Year 7 students in September 2013.
Since then, we have expanded fairly significantly, adding one cohort of students each year until September 2017, when we became a school serving students from kindergarten through grade 16.
Our third Year 11 cohort is preparing for their summer exams as we speak, and we now have 1131 students enrolled.
Since its inception, the College has experienced tremendous success, earning an Outstanding grade from Ofsted and being recognised as both a Leading Edge and a Teaching School.
We are dedicated to helping every one of our students reach their full academic potential while also offering a great extracurricular programme and a welcoming, inclusive environment.
We aim to be able to provide a place for every student who lives in our catchment despite the fact that we are located in the centre of one of the UK's fastest developing cities.
In addition to the additional lodging that was added in 2017, a new wing is scheduled to open in January 2020.
The College is working hard to start offering sixth-form programming in the early 2020s.
We are a welcoming, open-door school where everyone feels included.
We want Cambourne to be proud of us because we are proud to serve this town.

Good school that looks after the pupils. The school really does look after children’s well being as well as education.
this school may be okay for academics but they do not do anything to stop the massive amount of bullying that happens around the school. if an issue is taken to a head of year or a teacher you will just be told that it isnt a big deal and that you are overreacting. not only students pick on other students but alot of the teachers do too. a student once had to stand against...
