From the Astrea Academy Sheffield
inspiring two 18-year-olds beyond measure through a well-rounded education at a brand-new, cutting-edge institution. In Burngreave, North-East Sheffield, Astrea Academy Sheffield is housed in the former Grade II-listed Pye Bank Board School structure. You are cordially invited to Astrea Academy Sheffield, and I am the principal. I'm honoured to steer the academy on a quick path to success for the kids and teens we serve and to watch them thrive while in our care. As a member of the Astrea Academy Trust, we do not adhere to the conventional idea of "schooling," where everything is results-driven. Although Astrea students will excel in the classroom, education is so much more than just academic achievement. We believe in an education that 'inspires beyond measure' and to deliver this, we focus on encouraging and nurturing resilience, empathy, aspiration, contribution and happiness in all of our students. We will deliver a broad and balanced curriculum based on knowledge, skills and experiences which will enrich students' lives and provide them with opportunities to broaden their horizons and 'reach for the stars'. Our mission is to ensure our students leave Astrea Academy Sheffield with not only the academic qualifications to compete in a global society, but also with the necessary dispositions and character to embrace and be successful in a world full of hopes and challenges. We wish to instil confidence and the sense that students can achieve their goals by helping them grasp the wide possibilities that lie ahead in their life path. I don't apologise for having unyieldingly high standards of both the staff and the students, or for pushing for excellence in everything we do. I invite you to join us on this exciting adventure if you share our ambition for greatness.

my son has been neglected by the teachers because of his skin color I think that astrea should be more caring and supportive and possibly fire some of the staff members.
